The IALD International Lighting Design Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in lighting design worldwide. With categories spanning various applications and scales, the awards highlight the transformative power of light in enhancing architectural spaces and enriching human experiences. In 2014, during the 31^st edition of the Awards, the ‘Memorial for the Victims of Violence in Mexico’, an urban landmark in the heart of Mexico City, received the Award of Excellence in a ceremony that took place in Las Vegas, USA.
